A beautiful property and very helpful and friendly hosts. Our stay here was great. The rooms were comfortable and large based on our experiences with other hotels. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and made you feel like you were visiting family. Very well located as well. Despite all these good things the highlight for us was the surprise from Jean at breakfast. And it had nothing to d with the great food.

I really enjoyed my one day stay at hotel ocean. It was five minutes out of the old city. Very walkable. The room was small, but more than sufficient. There’s no elevator, therefore the staff offered to assist with the luggage. Good free overnight parking in a lot right in front of the hotel. There was a recommendation also for dinner, but I decided to go elsewhere because I wanted to go into the old town the breakfast was a continental breakfast, but quite a few and unlimited choices. We had a very enjoyable stay at Le Nouveau Monde. The hotel is comfortable and well located, but what particularly stood out was the excellent service. The reception staff were consistently friendly, professional, and very helpful, as were the staff at the bar. When we had a problem with the Nespresso machine in our room, reception responded quickly, and the maintenance staff member who came to assist us was also extremely helpful and promptly replaced the machine. Great place to enjoy St. Malo for a few days. It's location is perfect, situated right next to the beach and in good distance from the town center (about a 30 min walk). The staff is unbelievably helpful.
Couldn’t fault the room itself but did find the walk from our car to our room difficult with a load of baggage & a disabled husband. We will definitely stay again & hopefully when I request a room for a disabled person we will get one closer to where we had to park the car.
