Nice hotel, great view out of our window, wonderful dinner (get the lamb), helpful concierge. Breakfast was problematic, overworked waiter who could not keep straight which customers he should serve next. So, despite being there earlier than most we were served later than some who came after. Parking and driving the tight cobblestone road is also no fun but that is to be expected and comes with the territory. All in all a wonderful stay in a wonderful place. One night is sufficient.

I arrived on Thursday, June 18th (4ish pm) After a long walk from the train station (apparently public transportation is very scarce in Rocamadour) to the hotel, the receptionist was very kind and welcoming. We stumbled through our language barrier (she was very patient with me) and I was checked in and on my way. A lovely overnight stay and wonderful gourmet food. En route to another town, I needed to spend the night in Gourdon. The hotel was very comfortable and welcoming after a long flight from NY and train ride from Paris. However, I arrived at the train station early in the evening and there were no taxis available at that time of day. The hotel is within walking distance of the station if you are fit (some uphill) and can roll your luggage rather than carry. I recommend that you contact the hotel...

Hotel des Voyageurs was a great place to stay while visiting Rocamadour. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. They kept our luggage for us when we arrived in the morning, and it was in our room waiting for us when we came back. Breakfast was also good. The only issue was a lack of restaurants for dinner. The old town closes up by dinnertime and there was only one restaurant nearby.
