I booked this hotel because we were looking for something affordable, quiet and near things we wanted to see and visit. This was the best surprise of our vacation. The room was modern and very comfortable. We booked a double on the top floor, and we're right at the end of the building so we had views out two sides. Cute little tucked away bed and breakfast. The staff were super friendly and easy to communicate with. We were about 10 minutes out from the city so we couldn’t hear the night life but we’re still close enough to uber in to see all the sites. We would definitely stay here again!
Charming beautifully decorated cottages. We enjoyed fire place, deck, library, and pottery workshop. There is a delicious healthy breakfast served in the cafe every morning. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We hiked to a nearby village. We will definitely come back.

The breakfast was not only fresh, magnificent and delicious, but the view from the terrace is amazing. Very generous. Absolutely amazing place, one of a kind. Do yourself a favor and stay here. The apartment suites were affordable, well appointed, peaceful, and charming. The staff was very polite and helpful. The food was excellent.
The hotel is located in historical palace which definitely adds a lot to its charm. The hotel lobby, corridors, restaurant and other areas look like a royal palace and it feels like you are living in the museum, but with ability to touch and use the items. The room is very spacious and comfortable and the hotel part is very beautiful and pleasant to walk. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also located quite conveniently within 10-15 mins walk to Coimbra city center.
This was our first visit to Coimbra. We took a Flixbus to Coimbra from Porto. Easy to get to the hotel. The hotel was well located and it was very easy for us to see all of Coimbra. The staff were excellent. Breakfast was nicely prepared and included each morning. Coimbra is a small but friendly college town. The hotel was safe, clean and the staff were very helpful. When we return to this charming city, we'll stay here again.
