"Couldn't locate the showers for the Turkish sauna so was unable to shower before. Also , one of the saunas had no humidity and the other was too hot! Otherwise, all else was superb including the delicious meals and the staff. We really enjoyed our visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"My rating is partially on my stay but more so the staff experience. Background: I have always wanted to visit this property. I am from the West Coast in California and it is a long journey to get there upon arrival. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. It is everything that I wanted in terms of a retreat and a place to really have a sense of peace. Unfortunately, there were two events that happened in rapid succession and I was not happy or enthused at all. Rather than go into the details of what transpired, I would like to go more in depth into their response. We all make mistakes, however, what I found very refreshing was that one, they not only owned up to both incidents, but two, they made every conceivable effort to atone for them. That level of honesty and urgency is ultimately why I would visit this resort again. That level of dignity and respect is very much appreciated and it was because of that that I was able to enjoy the rest of my time there."

"Very nice "premium" property. Great amenities overlooking the water. Wonderful, attentive and interested staff. Breakfast was very good, but got booring after a few days. Some aspects of the room were a little tired and different (like the bathroom lighting was insufficient) but it was a very pleasant and spacious room. Bar drinks were priced more like NY than the Azores. Overall, a very pleasant stay. "

"Private gated villa located in great town. Local hot springs are less than a 10 minute walk. Staff was great, cleaned daily, did laundry upon request, left local foods after each cleaning. Overall a wonderful stay."
