Palazzo Della Rosa Prati is a charming, centuries old building located in the heart of the historic center of Parma. We had a two bedroom deluxe suite which was actually an apartment with a full kitchen and washing machine. The building is old, but the interior is modern, clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing. They helped us with dinner reservations and even arranged a cooking class for us. I highly recommend this hotel.
Love the breakfast buffet. The bad part is that the A/C did not work in both our rooms. The 2 rooms we stayed in was 80 degrees even though the unit was set below 60 degrees. Besides that all went well - we were able to park our car in front of the hotel for free.
The hotel is integrated into a new complex built around the rail station. The station itself was renovated less than 10 years ago and the hotel appears even newer than that. The location is extremely convenient for those who travel by train--just a few steps from the train station, and about 10 minutes walk to the city center.
