Hotels in Mortagua

Marta and Ikar were the most perfect and accommodating hosts for this historic and scenic B&B hotel. As owner/operators they made sure we were comfortable and catered too. Local jams and honey and and extra personal touches made this stay worthwhile. Slightly remote but close enough for a 15 minute drive into Tondela. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable room with refrigerator and microwave. Great pool area to relax. Good breakfast included. Not much open nearby on Sundays except a supermarket.

Cute little tucked away bed and breakfast. The staff were super friendly and easy to communicate with. We were about 10 minutes out from the city so we couldn’t hear the night life but we’re still close enough to uber in to see all the sites. We would definitely stay here again!

Charming beautifully decorated cottages. We enjoyed fire place, deck, library, and pottery workshop. There is a delicious healthy breakfast served in the cafe every morning. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We hiked to a nearby village. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely amazing place, one of a kind. Do yourself a favor and stay here. The apartment suites were affordable, well appointed, peaceful, and charming. The staff was very polite and helpful. The food was excellent.

The hotel was gorgeous! One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at in my life. Decor was beautiful, the room was very modern and very large. Wonderful breakfast and view from the top floor where you eat breakfast. Staff was helpful and very polite. I will stay here again when I come to Coimbra.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The accommodations were very comfortable and breakfast was wonderful. The host, Antonio, is very charming. We had a car so easy to get to the center but if using the bus, the stop is in front of the b&b

Best place to relax. Will be a bit remote from the centre, but if you drive, no problem!

Lovely rooms, comfortable and clean. Coffee machine wasn't easy to use, but other than that, all was great.

Great location. Check in instructions were clear and made that part of it easy. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions. The street was a little tricky to find. We missed it the first drive by. There is limited parking on the street which is metered. We were fortunate to find a spot. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel with a perfect location! We loved the view of the river and of course The Guggenheim Museum. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Beautiful apartment in the historic district of Coimbra. My family of four had the fourth floor apartment which did not have an elevator. Although it initially seemed intimidating, we were able to manage it and the staff assisted us with bringing the luggage upstairs. If you have any physical limitations, make sure you arrange to stay on a lower floor if possible. The area is beautiful, with lots of restaurants, shops, and pharmacies. I would definitely stay here again.
