This was one of the nicest places we stayed during our three weeks in Scotland. Wonderful hosts, beautiful location, good breakfast and an extremely comfortable, large and luxurious room. It's about ten miles outside of Oban but well worth the drive. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
Inverardran was the first stop on our partial West Highland Way walk, so we didn't stay long, but the B&B was very lovely. Breakfast was delicious, with the porridge being the best we had our whole trip through Scotland! Inspired us to try to make it back home. Owner was very warm, helpful and lovely as well. We found out here that Highland water everywhere was going to be quite brown (but safe to drink), so that took a bit to adjust to.
Wonderful stay during our hike on the West Highland Way. Staff were so friendly and accommodating and we had a fabulous meal at the restaurant and a lovely breakfast.
A great choice for a luxurious stay in a gorgeous remote setting along the loch. The views of this modern property are divine, the common lounge was well decorated and a great place to observe the sunset. Our room was well appointed, with great bedding and an awesome bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub with jets! There were very nice touches including great toiletries, robes and slippers, and a nice tea service in the room. The room can get hot, but a Dyson fan was included. Do note that...
We booked this room at short notice, deciding to break up our trip from Tobermory to Carlisle over 2 days. We got a spacious and very comfortable room, quiet and well-appointed. Like many older hotels. Hotels, in this part of the world there was no lift. Two of the staff are kind enough to help us get our luggage upstairs. It was nice to be within walking distance at the train station. Breakfast offerings were fairly lavish, fresh and appetizing.
Great location in Oban. Rooms were decorated and furnished very nicely. Rooms are above a very nice bar, but despite a full bar, no noise impacted our stay. Great little place!
A good basic room close to downtown Oban and the waterfront. ALmost no contact with the owner/manager beyond being let in and given a key. Pretty small room but nice few of the waterfront.
