This was an incredibly beautiful property with an amazing staff. It is so peaceful and serene. Only a few things irritated us. They need a qualified bartender and a bell man. The cobble stone hill made it difficult to hall luggage from the gravel parking lot. With that being said, I would do it over again. It was one of my most favorite locations.

Old hotel in an old mountain top town. Given the limitations of this environment the Cisterna is a great little hotel that met all of our needs .The Cisterna is located in Cisterna Square in town close to sights, dining and a valley view walkway. We had a fabulous 2 day stay at Palazzo Leopoldo. The Hotel was beautiful, the staff was helpful and very attentive and the breakfast was AMAZING!

Amazing in every way. The beauty of waking around is unlike any other. When we got there after a long day of traveling we had just missed the lunchtime to eat, and when went to shower the handle broke off- this is not a complaint. First they extended lunch without being asked and fixed the shower within minutes. From there on everything was amazing. It was very hard to get to the hotel. Google, Waze did not locate it. Upon arrival Ricardo confirmed this problem. The hotel is excellent! Super clean, confortable, modern decor. Their breakfast is really good. The staff were all friendly, professional and kind. I would dfinetly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is in fantastic location right in the middle of the action. Our room overlooked a small square across the street that had a holiday concert that we were able to watch from the room. Hotel bar is pricey, as expected by a 5* lobby bar, but staff is friendly and prompt. Only complaint is the flatness of the pillows and that's stretching. Tasteful decoration and cozy atmosphere; makes you want to stay and relax in the terrace or reading room. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Excellent location (5 minas walk to the center of Siena), surrounded by trees, perfect if you hace a rented car and can go back and forth between Tuscan towns.

We had one of the nice big balconies, so request "Room with a View" - maybe you'll get lucky * nice bathroom and comfortable beds * also a good location uphill with about a15-20 minute walk to the sites: cathedral, Torre el Campo, Fortress * a nice complimentary breakfast * polite and friendly staff - we'll stay here again

This place is amazing, and was a great deal in the off season. We paid €120 for a very nice room with a great big shower and a little private patio. The downside is being a long way from Florence’s attractions and restaurants. The closest place to eat was an 8 minute walk. If you have a car and want to be away from the madness of the tourist areas this is your place. VERY quiet.

This is a beautiful hotel just outside Florence. It is about 15-20 minutes from the main city of Florence but it is worth the drive if you looking for a peaceful relaxing quiet hotel. The grounds are fabulous and the restaurant on site is superb. The hotel is decorated in rich colors and beautiful furniture and has great historical items. We had a great time in beautiful Florence and enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Santa Croce.

It is a smart choice if you want to be near by and feel like you are in a highend boutique hotel.

This hotel was AMAZING! I don’t know know why it doesn’t have more stars (is it because they don’t have room service?). We had an apartment and both rooms were very spacious, a kitchenette and one full bathroom. Decoration is totally chic abd in the center of Florence. Loved it. Wish they had more hotels like this one all over Europe and US.

We cannot recommend this hotel enough. The price was so worth it. The resort has a delicious restaurant, comfortable and luxurious accommodations, a lovely bar, relaxing pool area, and the most amazing Tuscan hills view. We can attest that the romantic sunset they promote is spot on. There is a quaint downtown a 10 minutes walk away as well. It was conveniently located to Florence and many other Tuscan locations. It was amazing to get an authentic Tuscan experience.
