We loved this hotel and San Gimignano in Tuscany. This is such a wonderful town and the only way to get around is to walk. The hotel wonderfully sited on a gentle hillside overlooking the Tuscan countryside and only about a 5-7 minute walk from town. Limited transportation and the taxis were extremely expensive they will charge 165 euros one way for 30 minute drive. If you plan to go to Tuscany you need a car btw most cars are manual I don’t know how to drive it so I was stuck in the hotel for few days. To use public transportation you need to walk 39 minutes and is a lil dangerous because they don’t have side walk in the 15minutes from your trip.

Beautiful property with large rooms, parlors, great staff, great restaurant, etc. We arrived late and the kitchen was closed, but they made one call and re-opened it for us and served an amazing meal with late night enthusiasm on a beautiful deck.
