I loved this hotel so much! I did not want to leave. I actually felt very down the day we checked out. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels but never had such impeccable care. It was above and beyond. Every staff member was at our service. The view and location were amazing. It was a very quiet retreat to return to and within walking distance of everything. The hotel is one of the most beautiful places that I ever stayed. Fantastic location, exceptional service throughout Immaculately clean in the middle of old town but still very quiet. I can't wait to return.

Lovely stay, incredibly welcoming and helpful staff. Even offered to store our leftovers in his personal fridge. Great location.

Very lovely hotel! Room is clean and spacious with beautiful view stepping out on balcony. Breakfast is beautiful and delicious with so many choices, in a beautiful restaurant with amazing indoor ambiance and outdoor view! Super nice staff! Dog friendly! Easy parking. We feel privileged to stay at this hotel. We wish to come back for longer stay next time.

It was a Nice architecture this hotel. Not modern, but really nice look. Spacy rooms, heard the sea from your room. Beautiful village on the beach, perfect. I defiantly come back.

Wonderful place! The ming size bed was nice and to US standards. The location is great. And most importanly the staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating!

It was a fantastic hotel. The location can't be better and the hotel staffs were very helpful and polite. We could walk around the old Alfama area. We also got tips form the hotel reception. We had a early check out and the hotel staffs arranged breakfast box for us. Would certainly recommend this hotel for everyone.

Wonderful accommodations as always- what you expect with Eurostar properties

I loved the unique theme and feel to this hotel. It’s a one minute walk to the metro and the famous tram line; however, the area it’s located in isn’t the safest. Every day we encountered people on drugs outside (but they were harmless in our case and we had no issues). Just some strange characters. But the hotel itself is fabulous and they offer unique extras and a copious breakfast! As a woman I would only stay in this area with a male partner and suggest coming back a little before 10pm....

We stayed for 2 days after our cruise. We arrive early. Front desk was welcoming and offered us an available room. We declined and said we’d wait for our reserved room on the upper floor. We toured Lisbon and returned to Lumen in the mid afternoon. Here’s when the service was exceptional. Front desk was friendly; offered us breakfast at 10 euros and a 30% restaurant discount.
