"The hotel is in a great location in the middle of the town. Easily walkable to the castle. It has its own free parking in a lot a short walk away. (Initially we didn’t know this and found parking tricky on a busy Sunday afternoon). Our room was really spacious, with quality furnishings and a big bathroom. "We were hiking GR5 in January, with one stage ending at Vianden. We were grateful to be able to stay in this comfortable and conveniently located hotel, as there were very few overnight options at this time of the year. We got a larger room than we booked with view at the castle. The room is comfortable and clean. We had dinner at the acompanying restaurant, which is nicely decorated. The food was delicious. And the staff was warm."
