"Hotel Hecht is an excellent Appenzell hotel for travelers. We stayed three nights. Our room was recently updated and on the quiet back side of the building. Breakfast was included so we started each day with a good self serve continental breakfast. Because we were staying for three nights we were provided a “Appenzell Visitor Card”. Restaurant are fine, pricy like everything in Switzerland. Stuff was not really nice, kinder neglecting us, probably because we were with small children. Not bad, but for this price schuld have been much better…"
