The hotel is situated in the country, near tall trees and grape vines, convenient to hiking in that part of Madeira. The views were lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. For the 3 of us, the room was a bit crowded, but okay.
Really nice hotel! Felt a little like home away from home. Staff is very friendly and even brought us chocolates made on Madeira. Roof top pool and view is amazing!
Closed to the beach and a lot of stores. We took bus 1, 2 and 4 to the center Funchal (€2). The bus stop is close by and also took the aerobus to and from the airport. Only €6 per person, which is way cheaper than a taxi fee. Breakfast was very nice. They have a omelette station, fruits, bread and hot food selection.
Our stay here totally exceeded expectations! The grounds are gorgeous and the room was enormous compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Lisbon and Porto. The staff were incredibly sweet and accommodating. The kitchenette in the room was such a welcome surprise. We were able to cook a nice dinner one evening that we enjoyed on the patio overlooking downtown Funchal. Definitely hit the breakfast for 12 euros at least once. It was charming and delicious.
The room was clean, updated, and bright, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and perfectly sufficient to start the day. Parking was easy, and the garden was beautiful, which added to the overall atmosphere.
The entire stay was very relaxing. The location is excellent — central and convenient, yet still quiet and peaceful with a sense of tranquility.
The only issue was the shower. The water temperature would suddenly turn very hot or cold when someone else was using water in...
We stayed for 5 nights and it was perfect. Cleanest hotel we have stayed in so far. Location is great. Breakfast offered a nice variety and staff were friendly. We would recommend and stay again!
Very nice new property. Very well located and staff kind and helpful. An excellent choice for a few days in Madeira, exploring. Walking distance from city center of Funchal and nice views. Would highlight the pool at the rooftop, a nice plus after a day visiting Funchal. Would reccomend and stay again.

It was a good decision chooosing to stay out of the City of Funchal and stay at this charming hotel with tranquil atmosphere that i feel well rested during my 4 night stay. The Staff were very friendly especially at the Restaurant, clean and spacious room, comfy bed, and it's also a big plus with Restaurant: serving good and traditional food. The breakfast buffet offers good choices of fresh fruits, fresh bread sortiments, home-made jam and their tasty omelet is never to miss.

Amazing staff with a great location only a few blocks away from the main city center. The pool on the roof has an amazing view for days where you’d like to take a break and relax. The breakfast is solid. Make sure to reserve parking as there are limited spots!!!
Everyone at the staff has been very helpful to me. They made arrangements for me to extend my stay even under somewhat difficult conditions. I’m a happy guy and I like the location is central and you can get to the bus terminal the cable car and the old city with no problem. Mike
