This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. This is not a 5 star hotel, but it’s absolutely a 5 star experience. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We loved our three night stay at Memoria Porto. The staff treated us like royalty and our room overlooked the Douro River. One tip, we can offer is to take the # 500 bus to the coast and pay a lot less for authentic Portugese food, wine, and beer. We will definitely be back. Beautiful property in a very walkable part of Porto. The breakfast was AMAZING and the staff were so friendly. We did a mother daughter trip and loved being able to sit on the balcony off our room or at the rooftop bar and enjoy some wine and the sunset in the evening.

I had a great stay here for 3 days. The staff was so kind and helpful and the breakfast they brought to your room every morning was delicious! It was a nice, small boutique hotel. My room was the first one off the lobby so I didn't get to see much else, but from what I saw, the building was beautiful! I had a great view from my room with a balcony.

Property is just like advertised. What they don’t prepare you is for how polite, accommodating and kind is the entire staff especially Paulo at the front desk. What a delightful stay!
The hotel is located a bit far from the historic district (not walkable) but cabs are plentiful and the cost is 4-10 Euros (depending on traffic). The hotel itself is spectacular with modern rooms, a great breakfast buffet and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend highly.
