However, the accommodation, particularly in the main finca, which was always slightly shabby chic is now feeling a bit tired and would benefit from some updating and TLC. "A week at this lovely hotel was bliss! The room was quiet and very comfortable, looking out over the pool. The staff went the extra mile to help and were always friendly and warm. Breakfast was a real treat, really fresh and tasty, never any queues. It is a short and easy walk to the centre of Porto Cristo but it was tempting to spend more time on the comfy sunbeds around the pool or upstairs in the lovely rooftop bar. "We arrived at the property full of anticipation. When at reception desk, the lady who was working was extremely rude and unhelpful. Shrugged her shoulders when we asked if we could check in and we were stood in silence. Manager came. Couldn’t find a record of our booking even though I had the receipt. Didn’t know if we were all inclusive, even though we showed receipt. Told to go and eat whilst they sort our booking. Came back an hour later. Allowed to check in but hotel tried to charge us...
