Staying at this hotel was definitely a highlight of our trip. The location is unbeatable—right across from Kyoto Station, but as soon as you step inside, it's like entering another world. It's so peaceful that you'd never guess you were just steps from the hustle and bustle of the station. The rooms were sleek, comfortable, and had a modern vibe. The bathroom was fantastic too—really added to the whole luxurious feel. The staff were incredibly friendly. And get this, they even had a robot...

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful (which is a common theme in Japan). The hotel isn't located in Kyoto itself but is just a 10 minute train ride into the city. The great part is that it is located literally directly next to the station and there is a 24 hour family mart right next to the hotel also (so it's very convenient especially with a JR pass). Absolutely provides good bang form your buck. Overall, a great hotel.

The NEST at Nishiki is both a new and an exceptional property. The rooms were spotless and functional, the staff was extremely attentive, and the location was just perfect--steps from the Nishiki Market and the Gion district. Yet the single most outstanding feature of the NEST at Nishiki is its manager, Ms. Chie Nakamura. She is professional, knowledgeable, a top-notch hotelier, and a wonderful person. This hotel is a reflection of its manager. ありがとうございました.
