A wonderfully comfortable, crisp and contemporary hotel—easily accessible to everything in Berlin by virtue of its location near the main train station….also via a pleasant walk along the banks of the Spree River into the heart of Mitte. Value, style, and practicality make this hotel a new favorite for me.
We stayed at Hotel am Steinplatz for a week. The Hotel is great, great location, Great Breakfast, restaurant and Bar. The staff are very helpful and they were always ready to help us with anything we needed. The Hotel itself has a great story and it's where most of the famous German actors were staying and had their parties. The Hotel has been renovated since then but it has kept it's old charm and it can take you easily to those glamorous days while staying there.

Very convenient hotel for access to main train station and for walking the major tourist sites around Berlin center. Room initially was st up for one person (comforter on Queen bed the size of twin and only 1 bath towel) - contacted the maid and she lterally ran to get us another comforter and extra towels. Nice bar area and courtyard sitting area. Breakfast was a little steep so we didn't partake but all you need is across the street at the train station... Huge mall there...
Great staff, clean property. Very accommodating for late check out. Rooms are huge! VIP upgrade was phenomenal! I would definitely stay here again during my next trip in Berlin.
Will at Hotel Zoe took great care of us. We stayed here July 12-14. Service was above and beyond. He helped us out with many things. Our last night, we lost a wallet in the street. 2 wonderful Berliners saw our room card, went to the hotel and waited 45 minutes until we came back. Will waited with them and helped to track us down. We were so thankful to be reunited with our property. We are incredibly grateful for the combined efforts and kindness of genuinely wonderful people.The hotel itself...
We found the Berlin IHG Holiday Inn to be in a convenient location for travel by bus or tram. We walked around Berlin with no problem. The hotel is located in an area that has a number of bakeries and eateries. The breakfast buffet has an assortment of foods and it is delicious. We enjoyed our stay.
Although the room was quite small, we made do. We loved we could open the windows wide to let fresh air through, especially during this season when you want to ensure no germs are floating around. The highlight was definitely the breakfast buffet, that made up for any lack of space in the room. It was a proper thorough buffet with delicious options. We will be returning to stay here just for the buffet.
The staff was excellent. The lady at the check-in was super helpful with get us to the hop on and off bus, umbrellas, fans for the room, etc. The bartender in the lobby was great. He gave us a restaurant recommendation that turned out to be the best German restaurant I’ve eaten at in Berlin. Small back street place. Dicke Wirtin.
