This was most pleasant experience we had on this trip. Geoffery went above and beyond to see that we were well taken care of. The food was excellent and the room was more than we had expected. All-in all a GREAT Experience and we are recommending anyone traveling in this area to stay at this hotel!
Quiet suburban location, fairly easy to reach on the N2 (or N1?) bus line from the Train Station (stop: Castel Repos, just past Carrefour and Hexagone.) wifi login a bit cumbersome, but generally functional until too many guests logon. Room is good with private bathroom, fridge, big windows (I could see the river Marne, which is a great place to walk.) No air con, and no fan, so a bit hot for those few weeks of summer per year. A rustic property in the quaint village of Longpont, this hotel felt a little like one of those “Restaurants with rooms” concepts that are springing up now, in that everything revolves around the restaurant, more or less. And that’s no bad thing, as the restaurant serves excellent dinners on it’s lovely outdoor terrace (with inside dining too if the weather is bad)
