Hotels in Kawanoe

The best thing about this place is the natural hot springs mineral bath. The hotel is clean, well kept and the service is great. The downside is the location. The only reason to go here is the mineral hot springs bath or on business. Public transportation is an extreme challenge with this location for foreigners! Taxis don’t operate on any of the major apps so if you don’t speak fluent Japanese to call and request one, you are at the mercy of finding someone to help you. Secondly, the Kawanoe...

It was clean and comfortable with far more amenities than I would have expected!

I stayed one night while traveling around Kagawa in my rental car. The Hotel O. Setouchi seems to be a new, small boutique hotel. Easy parking on site. Easy check in. Friendly staff member. Though the room was a little small, it was modern and tastefully decorated. I was given a pass to use the large onsen across the street, which was wonderful for my legs after a long day of hiking / walking. The onsen complex has a restaurant. Other than that, I didn't see any restaurants within walking...

It was a scenic place with its calm and soothing sound of water. The breakfast was good. Could add choices of ready to make eggs counter.

This must be one of the best onsen hotels in the country! The complete design in harmony

Staff and location

It's a cozy room in a quiet street. A public onsen next door is a big plus.
