Very pleasant surprise. The Quinta was purchased by a well-off German back in 2017. He seem to have made it his pet project. Spared no expense to make it a top-notch retreat. The suite we stayed in was originally a horse stable that was turned into a super modern, large place with the help of some leading Lisbon design firm, while keeping some of it’s original features. We had a great experience during our 2-night stay. Location was just a 5 minute ride to the historical area, nicely tucked away from the busy streets in a quiet area, but yet close enough to walk to an Inter-Marche supermarket & a few cafes. The Quinta is in a lovely traditional, well maintained setting & we felt very safe there. The owners were welcoming & eager to please. Breakfast was phenomenal, especially prepared for us as we were only guests there this time. Highly recommended!
