This place has been run by the same family since the 1930s. Even the Beatles stayed here. Very warm and friendly staff. Very small room (I chose a single, although the bed was full size and took up most of the space!!!!). Still, the breakfast in the hotel dining room was great -- as were the dinner options in the evening. Four night stay whilst we (mother and adult son) raced about taking care of legal aspects of an UK property deal. HIEX was a clean, comfortable, welcoming place to come back to each night. We had a double room, booked through a comparison website, but a quick call to the hotel after booking arranged an additional 'rollaway' bed with no hassle and no additional charge. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable rate.
