The property-the building, the rooms, the gardens, the views-is spectacular. The restaurant was amazing. Chef Marco was a one man show, and his braciole was unique and innovative while still reminding me of my Sicilian-American family recipe. Recently spent 5 nights here and was not disappointed. Hotel is modern and very clean and all staff we encountered, especially Maryl and Maria-Antoinetta at the desk were very hospitable and helpful. Location is great being right across from the beach and only a 20 minute drive to Taormina. I do recommend that you have a car though since you will have to drive to the regular tourist spots that are nearby, and there are many.

The location is absolutely beautiful. The staff are friendly and so helpful, going out of their way to accommodate. We experienced equivalent hospitality across every staff, from reception to bell boy to bar lobby (Fabio and Frederica!) to espresso maker to housekeeping and the lifeguard!
