Super clean and well maintained room, really enjoyable breakfast. Easy to park and very nice staff, they offer everything you need, the beds were comfortable but one of the beds was too soft on one side, and wish there was a fan in the room as it was quite warm. This hotel was conveniently located to the centre of Valkenburg and a short drive to Landgraaf and Zuid Limburg. We stayed here for a multi-day event at Megalands (concert venue in Landgraaf), and it was perfect for our needs. This is a very nice inn. It reminded me of the gasthauses we sometimes stayed at when I was growing up in Germany. If you're looking for a major brand name 5 star full service, this isn't it, but it's not supposed to be. This was our first time in Liege, so we weren't familiar with the area at all. Needless to say, we were extremely happy with the Hotel Hors Chateau. Very nice staff ; the studio at the 9th floor had a great view and big size (area with sofa/mini kitchen - microwave, sink, tea/coffee maker, a tv and second area with bed and another tv). Bad smell in the bathroom coming from the pipes + bathroom state a bit "tired", but I informed the staff who was very reactive. Great breakfast with many options + fresh raw vegetables.
