The friendly and very helpful staff at the Dewa made our stay perfect! We rented scooters and explored all over the area, many cool restaurants and funny bars and dispensaries around nearby. And waterfalls to check out too. With the scooters you can get much more of a picture of local life also, you can take side roads. Really fun. I enjoyed four nights in a bungalow on the front line of Kae Bae beach. The accommodation was very comfortable and it was such a pleasure to look directly out to the beach and water from the front door. And there was a lovely porch there to sit on and enjoy the scenery. In addition, the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The town area is just a 6-7 minute walk away, but a concierge was available to take me in a cart.
