"Loved the location 5 minute walk from the Kokura Station on the quiet North side of the station, use the escalators to get down the street level with luggage. Supermarket in Basement of the station also in Saint City building and a convenience store opposite the hotel. Saizeriya Restaurant just a 5 minute walk in the same street as the hotel with cheap hot meals and wine. Tourist Information was so helpful at the station with maps and suggestions"

Everything 5 stars, booked Club Room came with free champagne and chocolates plus use of jacuzzi,sauna,steam room and ice pool included. Enjoyed eating breakfast in Cambord French restaurant on the 28 floor. Food and service was excellent you hardly see 8 utensils on the right side of your water glass. I ordered Western option came with seafood Benedict plus 9 other small items this was included 👻
I stayed 3 nights for a conference in Shimonoseki. The hotel is clean, has all the amenities I need, and the onsen was a plus. Hotel provides pyjamas and all sorts of skin care products at no additional charge. The open bar in the evenings was also a nice touch. There are good restaurants within walking distance.
The room was very nice and the location was great. The hotel was very close to the mono rail and the train station as well as the castle. We really enjoyed our stay!
A small, quiet hotel, easy check in. Room has everything, it was convenient to stay with a baby.
I would suggest to offer some bottled water to guests and something to turn off the lights at the door, it automatically turned on every time we walked there, so it was difficult for baby to sleep, while one of us went to bathroom or kitchen
This hotel is perfect. The rooms are clean and cozy, the breakfast is free and delicious, and the staff not only speak good English but provide the best, welcoming service. There is even some free curry/rice dinner as well. The prices are also affordable! I highly recommend Toyoko Inn hotels, there are many of these hotels around Japan and they all very high quality. Excellent business hotel with great, friendly staff. A short walk from Kokura Station and my room had a nice view of the waterfront port. Complimentary breakfast of japanese comfort foods, plus breads/pastries & coffee was satisfying & serviced by the nicest & hardest working staff.
