This hotel is near Luebeck but is definitely situated in the country. So, it would be perfect for visiting, and then retreating from this World Heritage city. It would also be great if you had time to relax and just sit in the garden or enjoy the countryside. Kathrin was so helpful and kind! I brought my aunt and uncle and the 1 bedroom suite was perfect - the sofa bed was super comfortable for me, and I’m a picky tall gal! Literally the only wish would’ve been for feather pillows (comforter was down), but we also didn’t inquire. The offer was there to dial in bed stiffness, which we didn’t need. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh! And espresso drinks on offer as well
we really enjoyed staying here, we paid for an upgraded room with its own living room and bedroom, and it was very nice. The only thing we didn't like is the chimney smoke came into our bedroom from the fireplace they have in the hotel so we couldn't have the window open part of the time, but it wasn't a huge problem,and our view was nonexistent as it was just looking out over the top of the hotel roof. The hotel was right across the River from the old city of Lübeck, and an easy walk. It was a quaint and spacious room, and the breakfasts were really great. Their smoked salmon was fantastic!
This hotel is a great modern hotel not far from the city center. The top of the hotel is where you have an amazing breakfast in the morning and excellent dinner options at night while offering a great view from the eighth floor. Staff is great and parking is right there, though expensive. The room is clean and comfortable.
The location is excellent. Across the street from a greenway and just a couple of minutes easy walk from the Mulenbrucke and pedestrian bridge next to that to one of the main restaurant streets in the old town. The hotel is old, but spacious, comfortable and well maintained. I needed to do some emailing after checking out and was able to sit in a quiet space with tables. Extremely good value.
This is - by far - the best Value for Money hotel I have stayed in for a long time. I chose the hotel to get good beds for the children as well as we adults. And indeed - full quality and size - not like in even high star international hotel chains. The two rooms had great size and equipped with modern design.
The breakfast was typical German - with fresh baked bread and fresh cut fruit.
I am very pleased and can only recommend this fully!
