This hotel is near Luebeck but is definitely situated in the country. So, it would be perfect for visiting, and then retreating from this World Heritage city. It would also be great if you had time to relax and just sit in the garden or enjoy the countryside. Kathrin was so helpful and kind! I brought my aunt and uncle and the 1 bedroom suite was perfect - the sofa bed was super comfortable for me, and I’m a picky tall gal! Literally the only wish would’ve been for feather pillows (comforter was down), but we also didn’t inquire. The offer was there to dial in bed stiffness, which we didn’t need. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh! And espresso drinks on offer as well
The two twin beds were Murphy beds pulled down from the bureau. Once pulled down, there was very little space in the room with supports we had to be careful to not stub our toes on. The bathroom, however had a lot of space! The breakfast was wonderful!
Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good and staff were extremely friendly! Everything was close by; only a few steps to the promenade. We had a great vacation time and will be back.

I found this hotel totally by accident, and we found it to be an exceptional place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was huge and varied, with both items for a typical German breakfast, and eggs, bacon and sausage, if one prefers something more American style.
