The hotel is not in a readily accessible area - but that is true for a lot of Corsica that is worth visiting. I was in Corte looking for a place nearby to stay and Hotel des Deux Sorru showed up 18as km away - straight line distance. Distance by car was actually 100 km and 2 1/2 hours of driving through some beautiful mountains and gorges (that is a hotels.com problem though). It was wonderful, we got a big appartement sea view instead of a double room, we took a beer on the balcony, the owners were very kind and very friendly.
The view from the rooftop was spectacular, and breakfast was great. It was perfectly situated for walking anywhere. Cons: there was no shampoo or conditioner.
The property was in a great location. Just a 10 min walk to old town. The breakfast was very nice. The staff was great. You can get coffee from the machine all day long.

Hotel Fesch is in the beautiful old part of Ajaccio a short walk from the railway and bus stations, the beach, the ferry, eating places, shops & just about everything worth seeing in Ajaccio. Close to an excellent boulangerie & nearby crepe & gelati cafe, too. Double glazing & shutters on the windows make the room noise-proof, too. Comfy beds, clean room, shower in the bath a bit weird but easy to master once you get used to it.
