"We had visited this lovely pub earlier in the year and decided to go back and stay the night! What an amazing decision! The landlord is such a lovely guy, super friendly and welcoming! All the staff were lovely and helpful too! We had lunch to share - a ploughman’s and a sausage roll which was perfect! Our evening meal was also out of this world! We had the slow braised beef cheek pie and the black pork dish. Really reasonable prices and was of a much higher quality than an everyday pub! Delicious! Excellent seasonal menu! Breakfast was included and was superb - we had cereals and coffees and a cooked breakfast! The room was absolutely lovely! Huge shower and the bed was really comfortable! All beautifully clean and modern. Nice and quiet through the night too. I would highly recommend staying here! Lovely walk around the village and a fabulous church next door! Ten minutes from the coast too! A perfect stay!"
