Breakfast is over at 9. There was basically only cold cereal left and breads. We had our granddaughter and she's not supposed to eat any of these and she was hungry. A lot of people, myself included are gluten intolerant. It would be amazing if hotels would take compassion on guests like us and provide meats and fruits more than breads and cereals for breakfast. Even the eggs were gone. Everything else was lovely and clean!
I have stayed in many Hotels and this one was outstanding. From the time I checked in till I checked out the staff was great, the room was so clean, and the property was kept up. I will be back.
Two night stay while visiting Taylor, TX. Hotel was very nice and breakfast was enough for us. Unfortunately, housekeeping did not clean our room. The front desk lady was very apologetic and brought us clean towels.
This redesigned railroad property was tastefully done in a modern theme, with warm colors and warm lighting.
The room was smaller than a more modern hotel room but still had everything we needed.

We always enjoy our stays at the Talbot. The rooms are lovely and so clean, the toiletries provided smell amazing, and the courtyard with the kitties to pet is a bonus!! We love the adjacent coffee shop!
I don’t often travel solo however, I felt very comfortable in my room and safe. The bed was extremely comfortable I had everything I needed. And the room was very clean no complaints whatsoever. I’ll be staying there again soon
We have stayed at this property before and the experience has been very rewarding every time. Cleanliness is quite obviously important to management because all areas I saw were spotless. The staff are well trained, friendly, and efficient without seeming to be stuffy. Everything about the room was excellent and I plan to stay there on every trip to Temple.
The room was clean. Manager was very accommodating and very helpful. The suite we rented had 3 beds, 1 room and a kitchenette. They has well have a laundromat downstairs, if you need to wash your clothes. Family dollar down the street and other major stores and parks, etc. are 8-10min away from the hotel. There is no pool.
