"Le The Residence Tunis est, sans aucun doute, mon hôtel préféré en Tunisie. Cela fait plus de sept ans que j’y séjourne régulièrement avec ma famille, et chaque visite confirme pourquoi j’y reviens toujours avec autant de plaisir. Dès que l’on franchit les portes de l’hôtel, on ressent une atmosphère de calme, d’élégance et de raffinement. Les espaces sont magnifiques, les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables et impeccablement entretenues. La grande piscine est superbe et entourée d’un jardin luxuriant qui mène directement à une magnifique plage privée, parfaitement aménagée. C’est un véritable havre de paix où il est facile de se détendre. Le spa mérite également une mention toute particulière. Les installations sont magnifiques, la piscine du spa est exceptionnelle et l’ambiance est propice à une détente absolue. Les massages et les différents soins sont d’une qualité remarquable. Un grand merci à Hossine pour son professionnalisme, son accueil attentionné et la qualité irréprochable de son service, qui rendent l’expérience encore plus mémorable. La restauration mérite également d’être soulignée. Le petit-déjeuner est exceptionnel, varié et généreux, avec des produits de grande qualité. Les dîners au restaurant L’Olivier sont tout aussi excellents. Installé sur une magnifique terrasse, à l’ombre des oliviers, le restaurant offre un cadre paisible et raffiné qui rend chaque repas encore plus agréable. "Good location of the hotel and central to all that Hammamet has to offer. About 35 mins from Enfida airport. Other than shops, a theme/water park and a boat harbour, there isn't really much else to see. The beach is 100 metres from the hotel and is fairly clean and stretches for miles, with all other 5 class hotels situated on the beach strip. The hotel, although 5 class, is really 4 star at best, and in need of serious modernisation. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner as part of an All Inclusive is satisfactory offering international and local cuisine. The cuisine is fairly extensive however lacks every day variety and quality and is perhaps not in keeping with a 5 star but rather a 4 star hotel. There are also 3 a la karte restaurants (Tunisian, Mediterranean and Italian) that can be booked 24 hours in advance on the All Inclusive but cuisine was average. Pool facilities offer the usual entertainment and again adequate but found the music poolside to be rather loud. Adequate sun loungers. Rooms are clean but basic. Plants on the balconies are not well maintained. Gym is basic, dusty, but functional. Overall a 3.75 out of 5 is a fair rating from me."
