I can't say enough good things about my stay here. 1st was how safe myself and my husband felt leaving me alone at the hotel for several days while he worked. It was an amazing rejuvenating stay..amazing spa, meals, room, views, walking trails...I can't wait to go back. This is my go to spot for life!
This property was a find! I was concerned driving there as it was located in the middle of nowhere and thank God for Google maps else I don't know how I would find it. But what a delight! This is our second time staying here, it is one of our favorite hotels. The restaurant and bar are excellent, and the guest rooms are beautifully decorated. The desk staff drove us to the train station because we could not get a taxi. Great location within Hexham, next to everything.
We were excited to visit the small town of Hexham to see the sites both in town and at the nearby Roman ruins along Hadrians Wall. Victoria Tap was both the perfect central location to do that and an overall great place to stay. We thought a pub might be noisy at night but we didn’t hear a thing in our room. Even through two World Cup matches. The staff was nothing but friendly and helpful. This hotel is a great value for the cost and we would recommend a stay. The room was larger than expected...
