Lovely staff, large rooms, comfortable and clean beds, great atmosphere in a fantastic location within walking distance of all the sites. I’d happily stay there again, although the great atmosphere does mean it’s a bit dated, there are lots of stairs and the elevator wasn’t working when I was there. Food was great and lots of restaurants are close by, the breakfast will keep you going and there are vegetarian options. If you have not visited Armagh, seat of both the Catholic and Church of...
This property was beautiful and exactly what I needed to get away for a week in July. I got the most inexpensive room and it had a smart tv, spacious shower, very comfortable queen bed with flat sheet and fluffy duvet/comforter and comfy pillows, small library, electric tea kettle, tea cups with spoon and saucer, instant coffee and tea with milk and sugar, space heater, and hair dryer. It also had a beautiful courtyard with colorful flowers. Will return in the future.
Beautiful house and location. The breakfast was great. I had the French toast both day. Our hosts were friendly and gave us some good tips. The house is in the country so you have to drive a few miles to the closest restaurants.
What a wonderful stop on our trip! The property was beautiful and Edele and Alessio were so attentive to our needs. We had a seven course tasting menu and breakfast prepared by Sonia Russell and Louise Hynes. The food at both meals was so delicious and there was so much attention to detail. One dish, the pea and mint soup, brought tears to my wife’s eyes. The house and rooms were beautifully decorated and we were very comfortable. We cannot say enough about The Blackwell House. We will...
The Belmont is a beautiful property. Check-in was easy and the staff was pleasant. The downstairs bar was really unique and we were able to enjoy a nice casual meal after a day of traveling the Causeway. Our room was very comfortable and stylish. Breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again for a nice location between Belfast and Dublin.
This was a two-night visit full of lovely surprises, beginning when the SatNav sat down late in the evening and our hostess, Margo, drove out to rescue us in the dark and lead us 'home'. Next morning, after a great night's sleep, we both found a beautiful fresh fruit cocktail awaiting us when we arrived at the breakfast table. Never having been to this part of Co Tyrone before, surprise No 3 awaited us when we went outside after breakfast and caught sight of the spectacular view. From the...
