The staff were helpful and kind, the hotel was clean, fresh and welcoming after a long day of traveling. Public transportation was close, we used a car to get to old town which easily navigated to. The breakfast had plenty of options for the entire family.
We struggled to find a hotel in Luxembourg that looked reliable. The Novotel Suites was our "safe" choice and it was great. A/C worked in the heat wave. Everything was fresh, clean, even a bit space age. Three sinks, solid door to shower room. Hair dryer was the best in europe. Wasserkocher in room, but only small paper cups. Tram has been extended to the city and is free until mid Sept. Electric black out blinds and sound proofing helped sleep even on the road side of the hotel.
This hotel sits a 5-10 minute walk from the main Luxembourg train station. Just outside the hotel is the tram. It's near the heart of the city and if you are looking to go to the city center you are only 15 minutes away. They offer a nice clean room and a nice breakfast .
Staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet at night and had very efficient blackout curtains, which led to good nights’ sleep. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a great variety of foods. We were surprised to learn that the street was closed in front of the hotel and the local shops set up outside. The room was clean and comfortable enough. The only complaint we have is the shower tended to get the floor soaked but we put down an extra towel and cleaned up afterwards so it wasn't to big of a deal. The area is okay, it's a lot of newer buildings with not much to do right by the hotel but there are food options near and the location is great for getting a way for day trips. The hotel and our rooms were clean, as was the hotel. It was easy to see that the property is well cared for and that the staff takes pride in their work. The Tourist Information center is right around the corner in the plaza, and absolutely everything is within walking distance! A couple of people in our party are light sleepers, and said that the noise from the bar on Rue Notre Dame and that from the plaza kept them awake. The facility is spotless, the rooms well appointed. The breakfast offerings are 5 Star. Shops àre a 10 minute walk from Klouschter. Direct busses to Luxembourg Gare are a 10 minute walk from Klouschter (at Casino 2000). Of the Front Desk Staff, one Staff Member could not do enough to be helpful, including speaking English, and, writing information on paper with pen. The other Front Desk Staff member could not have been more rude, including providing misleading information and 'No English' ......
I booked this hotel because the offered parking. When I arrived to the hotel, there was no parking and I had to look for parking on the streets. Otherwise, the hotel was excellent.
Great stay right outside the city that offers free parking and a spacious and comfortable room. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of fast food options with late hours. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The amenities are basic, but that’s to be expected for a hotel in this class. If you just need a safe and clean hotel for a short stay outside the city, this is a great option.
