Hotels in Carnaross

When you read reviews you sometimes average the good ones with the bad ones. This hotel had no bad reviews and I must concur also, it really lived up to what we read ahead of time. The fact that it is very new makes it stick out compared with a lot of other hotels. Bed was very comfortable too compared with others. Overall a great place to stay!

This was the most amazing hotel that we’ve stayed in all of Europe. We’ve been to 25 different countries and nothing compares to how wonderful this place was, we will go back again some day.

I was very tired when I got in, and was a bit worried about the care given to me, but the staff worked everything out and all was fine.

We loved our visit to Lough Bawn and the beautiful grounds surrounding. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with owner Verity and the breakfast was delicious. We recommend this to anyone considering a peaceful visit in the area. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Kathleen is a most welcoming host, this is a great place to stay if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, authentic experience. Lots of nice fresh fruit and delicious soda bread were among the offerings at breakfast.

The staff were fantastic! Best Irish Strip Steak ever! Amazing Irish breakfast! Dreamy place!! Definitely want to come back! Only downside, was hoping to actually sleep in the castle!

The staff here made this some of the best and most personal hospitality we’ve received during our 2-week Ireland trip. Great location for walking to things in Trim, and not too far a drive to Dublin either.

The rooms were clean and easily fit my family of 5. The breakfast was phenomenal!

Beautiful old building with gorgeous views from our rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return and stay longer to take out one of their boats to fish on lake.

This is an excellent choice to stay outside Dublin. We loved the hotel, our room was nice and the pub was pretty good too. Would definitely recommend

Bellinter house allows you to imagine what out might have been like to get away to your country home to escape the pressures of the turbulent 1700s. Beautiful grounds, lovely, lovingly-restored rooms, but with enough electrical outlets! Attention is paid to each guest. We ended our trip to Ireland here, but would have loved additional nights in the birdsong filled countryside.

Such a relaxing place with comfortable rooms, very nice comforatable linens and nice finishes in the bathrooms and common areas. Dinner was terrific.

Couldn’t have been better!!

This is a great location with just a short drive in the morning to the airport. Their food is excellent. You are a short walk from the Trim Castle, one of the locations used for filming Braveheart.

We stayed in one of the lovely cottages .It was finished to a high standard,great kitchen ,bathroom and bedroom.Wifi was good.The owners kindly placed jams,butter, eggs,milk and bread there for us.Property is on a farm.Local TV available or streaming services if you have an account you can log on to.A nice location on R161 south of Trim
