The George was a great place to stay, dog friendly and all the staff were great and very welcoming and helpful. Although they don’t serve food in the evening, they were very accommodating, being very happy for us to bring a takeaway back to the dinning room to eat there. The breakfast was also excellent as were the staff waiting on!!.

Every aspect of my stay at Hollamoor added up to make it an EXPERIENCE that I'll carry with me a long while. The room itself, Beaulieu, was in the 300 year-old barn overlooking gardens filled with spring flower blossoms. Ancient stone walls in the room contrasted with the most comfortable bedding and down-filled pillows you can imagine. Beautiful, contemporary bathroom with skylight includes a big tub to soak in and a separate shower with huge shower head. The real experience, however,...
This was a beautiful property. The surrounding area was picturebook. We had a very good meal and a good, comfortable sleep.
My only issue is the roads were very difficult getting there, so I could not recommend to a tourist with no experience with the narrow roads and remote location.
