Hotel is very nice and staff could not be more attentive.Can't beat the location for ease off transportation in all directions to VA,to I-81,to Bristol or Johnson City.Stay at various places in the area but because of VALUE,will be a regular repeat customer.
I had to make a quick trip & chose this hotel based on the price, good reviews & that I could bring my little bischon. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room & comfort of the bed. The only (2) problems were finding the location in the dark because it is high up on a hill & hard to see the entrance. The other problem was with the charges. The website did not show an additional fee for a pet & the clerk could not tell if the charges had been charged to my credit card so I had to...
I travel a lot. The price I paid was a good value. The front desk person David was amazingly helpful and personable. He presented himself as a friend and I felt like he was a friend. I will stay there again when I am in that area.
The property is beautiful, the people are nice and best of all… I got a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was fabulous - get the eggs benedict. My only complaint, which is minor, please serve tea with the correct temp of hot water. I know tea drinkers are the minority but hot water will go a long way with us.
We booked this stay very last minute to join some friends who were camping nearby (there was no way I could get our camping gear ready in time). I was so blown away by this property. I’ve been gushing about it all week, The decor was beautiful, room size was huge, bed and sleeper sofa were super comfortable and the whole place smelled like a spa! We were also pleasantly surprised at how cute and vibrant downtown Elizabethton was on a Saturday night. Would 100% stay again!
This house had everything a large family could want. A secluded (but not isolated), beautiful large yard both front and back. A river, bamboo forest, old growth trees and large covered porch with ample seating and table. I wish we had longer to stay to enjoy a nice campfire in their rustic fire pit. It looks like a great fishing spot as well though I didn't have time to try. Shopping wasn't to far away so a plus there as well. The house itself was large had a nice sized kitchen, family room...
