If you are interested in exploring Cornwall, this is a great location to do it from you are a short distance from the north and south coasts as well as the western end of the country. You have access to very good roads. On top of that, you will find yourself in a well appointed room being helped be an excellent staff. We’re vegetarians and we found very good meals.
Margaret and Owen were very gracious hosts. The breakfast was wonderful. The location of the hotel is very close to the beach and the central shopping area. Our room was beautifully decorated and had an outstanding view of the water. Owen recommended a couple of local restaurants that we really enjoyed. The location of this property is unbeatable. Close to the ocean and an easy walk to downtown. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I liked the parking which had a cost but was very convenient. They need to do a bit of work on the place. There was some areas in the room that needed painting and plaster work. The shower and bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was very good.
The staff work hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The pub and rooms are as quaint and charming as can be. Wonderful place to unplug, we will plan another stay.
This hotel is in a great location near the beach and only a 10 - 15 minute walk from town. There are coastal walks nearby along with restaurants to visit and watch the sun set over the ocean.
The head receptionist gave us a wonderful welcome and was very informative about the hotels facilities and the immediate area.
The room was a tad hot due to unseasonably warm weather and no air conditioning, but otherwise very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay here again.
