What a quaint, little village in a beautiful locale. This newly renovated hotel is in the heart of Lostwithiel, just 1 mile from Restormel Castle. The rooms are beautiful and have modern amenities.
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I always have a couple simple requests on my reservations and no one ever complies so I was startled when the woman at the front desk mentioned that they had provided my request.

Margaret and Owen were very gracious hosts. The breakfast was wonderful. The location of the hotel is very close to the beach and the central shopping area. Our room was beautifully decorated and had an outstanding view of the water. Owen recommended a couple of local restaurants that we really enjoyed. The hospitality was above and beyond our expectations!
This little gem was the best part of our two week adventure through Cornwall. The room was wonderful, the staff was amazing, the food was fantastic and the locals were friendly and welcoming.

This hotel is in a great location near the beach and only a 10 - 15 minute walk from town. There are coastal walks nearby along with restaurants to visit and watch the sun set over the ocean.
The head receptionist gave us a wonderful welcome and was very informative about the hotels facilities and the immediate area.
The room was a tad hot due to unseasonably warm weather and no air conditioning, but otherwise very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay here again.
We had an enjoyable 5-night stay at the Port Gaverne Hotel. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We enjoyed the variety of offerings at breakfast and the Sunday Roast. This is not "pub food."
This is an old hotel and be advised that the rooms are small and up steep stairs, although the staff helped with luggage. We were there during a heat wave and there is no air conditioning, which is typically not needed. The bed was comfortable and the bedding lovely.

Great location for our trip. Room was clean and had all amenities that we needed. Breakfast was excellent - hot and cold options readily available, served in a timely manner. Hosts were very friendly and attentive.
The location of this property is unbeatable. Close to the ocean and an easy walk to downtown. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I liked the parking which had a cost but was very convenient. They need to do a bit of work on the place. There was some areas in the room that needed painting and plaster work. The shower and bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was very good.
