The room was great. Loved the theming of the items in the room, and the bed though not the best I have ever been in was really good. I got there early and my room was not ready but the manager let me use her space to change into my clothes for a memorial service.
Beautiful lodge, comfortable beds but their bed pillows with no others to change for us were so thick that we had to sleep on just a corner of them. Next time we'll bring our own. Breakfast very good with eggs, sausage and other condiments. Nearby restaurant was also perfect.
By far the most modern and cleanest hotel in Wallowa County. The price is the comparable to other local motels. The only drawback is that this hotel is just far enough outside of downtown that we weren't comfortable walking along the busy highway.
