What a beautiful hotel! From the moment you drive up, the property makes an incredible first impression. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, and the décor was absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Stables, and our room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The Castle at Edgehill is well kept, clean, comfortable and in a great location for exploring Banbury, Stratford and Warwick. We stayed in the Astley room and were extremely pleased with the comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and hot shower. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and we enjoyed being able to sit in the pub a couple of evenings, or in the garden, and enjoy the amazing views out over Edgehill and the freshly cut corn fields.Staff were friendly and helpful. We were greeted by friendly, helpful staff. The beds were very comfortable. We used the leisure facilities in the morning which open at 7. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were relaxing. I hope to go back and spend a couple of nights.

I liked the fact that this not a run of the mill motel It also reminded me so much of the house I lived in from 1959 - 62, not far away at Allesley (sadly gone).This was owned by Jaguar Cars to accommodate student apprentices. We were amazed by the old fireplace in the sitting room, part of one of the old City gates.
