We just had a beautiful 1 night stay with Karolyn & Chris in a very yummy room in a quite delicious & absorbing house. The welcome (includes a chocolate), service, friendliness, the bed, the breakfast (oh yeah THE breakfast - especially the Porridge) & their 2 dogs, who are extremely friendly, after an initial bark when arriving, made the overall experience one we’ll never forget & will be telling other travellers to just book in & enjoy. The property is National Trust listed & is quietly tucked...
I stayed here the night before my wedding at Drum Castle and was able to utilize the late checkout so I could get ready there with my hair and makeup artists. My bridesmaids, mother, and I had such a great experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the breakfast was delivered to my room and was delicious, and the property was clean and very relaxing. Lots of cute bunnies outside! We enjoyed our experience here very much and would stay again!
The attention to detail is evident throughout the property. The staff service is exceptional, as was the food. The grounds are beautiful. One of my best hotel experiences
Only negative was that the wine list contains wines from our Fake 45!
A wonderful walk on a trail along the River Don is nearby. This was nice to find in an urban area like Aberdeen.
Staff is superb.
Room is quiet, clean.
Dining area is very nice.
An old Victorian house, lovingly restored.
Better than a 5***** hotel. This place is great. Beautiful, modern. The host is fabulous. If you are passing through Aberdeen... which I also highly recommend.... Stay @ Marks @ The Manor.
Oh I forgot to mention.... it comes with a wonderful expresso/cappuccino maker and a set of breakfast and snack goodies.
Couldn't have picked a better place - wish we could have stayed longer here. The hosts are incredibly friendly, the room was spacious, tastefully decorated, the bedding soft and luxurious and it smelled really good. Best sleep I've had this past week too!!
Absolutely gorgeous hotel! Clean rooms, friendly staff, beautiful grounds. My only regret is we arrived very late due to car trouble and we only had one night to stay. We would love to come back to Scotland and will definitely book Ardo House again.
Thank you for the fantastic stay at your hotel. We appreciated your moving us to the haunted section of your hotel. We enjoyed everything from the ambiance to the ghost experience around 1:15-1:30 am (May 18, 2015), in Room 8. The food in your main dining room was very good. Your staff (wait and resting staff) were wonderful and accommodating. We like to stay at older properties and this was kept up very well. We appreciated talking to Lazslo and Christina ... about the history of the...
