I enjoyed the included wonderful breakfast spread, hiking 3 days with the included hotel hiking guide, going to the Wellness area, afternoon treats. They will also pick guests up at the Pontresina train station. I had such a marvelous time at Hotel Walther, that I will be going there again next year but for a longer stay.
We had a double mountain room and it was spacious and clean. The hotel is newer and in a beautiful location with great views and very close proximity to bus stop. Everyone who worked at the hospital was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of offerings (and with a big buffet area and two coffee makers, it never felt crowded even when the hotel was full). Livigno is an expensive area and hotels are no exception. This hotel had everything that is important for me at a reasonable price. I congratulate them for running the hotel well. The staff were excellent. Breakfast was good but not exceptional. The room was very clean and modern and shower amazing.
Staff was amazing- friendly, helpful, and inviting. Our room was basic and the bathroom was quite small, but to be expected at a hotel of this age and charm.
About a 2 minute ride from the Pontresina train station. We took the train from Lucerne to Pontresina en route to Milan. Beautiful train ride. The property is brand new and staff super accommodating. Superior room was spacious and had a beautiful balcony with amazing mountain views. Dinner on property was excellent and reasonable. A wonderful find on our way to Zermatt! I wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was efficient, clean, and charming. The breakfast was stellar and the location is incredibly convenient to the train station. We didn’t get to use the spa, but it looked gorgeous. Don't hesitate to book!
