"The room was dark. There was only 1 light between the 2 beds. The restroom light was on a 30 second timer. They did not give us regular face towels. It was a dish towel. The floor in the elevators were dirty, that evening when we arrived and the same dirty floor was there the next day. The ceiling was not painted in a large portion of the room, maybe they had a leak and they repaired the ceiling, but didn't bother to paint it. This was the 2nd room. When we got off the elevator, there was a mouse trap by the closet door. The first room was dark, the floor was bumpy and you could not lock the room, the dead bolts did not work and we could not secure the door and this was also the case for both rooms. "Good for the price. Basic, no frills. Good location close to subway. Small rooms, noisy because there is a huge gap around doors letting in both light and noise from the hall. Good staff. "

"Breakfast was excellent! I liked the self-make pancakes, must try. The staff were excellent and the room was very tidy and clean! The only complaint I had was the shuttle pickup at the airport was not punctual and organized. The shuttle was supposed to be coming in at the Newark airport every 30 mins, I waited for more than 1h 15 mins and it never showed up. The shuttle for Embassy suites was kind enough to pick me up as Hampton Inn and suites was right across, it was a bit frustrating to wait after a very long flight. However, everything else was great though!"
