"This is one of the friendliest hotels we visit. From the front desk, to the bar, to the housekeeping staff, we feel welcome! After experiencing the apathy and disregard we receive at so many of the big chains, this is very, very welcome. We bring our dog (a 25-pound corgi), and he is welcome also. There's a grassy area for him, and he's welcome if we want to hang out in the lobby. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, and the bathrooms have always been fully functional. The style and design of the place offers sort of a "woodland lodge" feeling, which adds to the hominess. These folks make the Stoney Creek Inn seem like home."
