This is the perfect place to rest your tired travel bones if you are doing Old Route 66 thru Missouri. We felt we got a true experience of Route 66 from back in the day. Motel was clean and comfortable. Not a lot of fancy stuff but wonderful for the experience travel of the past. Owners were pleasant. They gave us keys to 2 rooms to check which one we preferred. We ended up extending our stay for a night, so we stayed 3 nights total. Super friendly employees, the pool was always clean and was open good hours (7am-10pm*for kids and 12am for adults) the bed was pretty firm but not bad, microwavable sausage egg and cheese biscuits, biscuits and gravy, or pancakes were yhe hot breakfast options, there was also muffins. We stayed at the Days Inn in Monett for three days while attending the 2015 Marian Days in Carthage, MO. We had a clean, comfortable room and a good breakfast every day. The swimming pool looked attractive and nice but we did not have the chance to use it this time.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is about 45 minutes from Carthage, but we will definitely stay at this hotel the next time we are in the area.
