The Green Man
8/10 Good
"Unusual multi-layer room with two televisions. Quirky ensuite shower room with sink in main room. This may not be a typical room. Unable to comment on their food, as we didn't have any meals there. The main Pub building is characterful with a long history. Otherwise, Staff very helpful and the Green Man has a large car park."
The Talbot Inn
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is a delight with its history and character. The room we stayed in was nicely furnished, and very comfortable. Food at breakfast and dinner was of a high quality with generous portions and we found the staff to be welcoming and helpful. We certainly hope to return in future."
The Baiting House and Lodges
8/10 Good
"Lovely lodges, well maintained and nice hot tub Only disadvantage is not being able to keep the car at the lodge as my friend has poor mobility. We had been promised the lodge closest to the restaurant building, but we weren't put in there unfortunately"
The Riverside at Aymestrey
10/10 Excellent
"From check in to check out the staff were so helpful. Can fault anything."
The Feathers Hotel
8/10 Good
"We stayed 3 nights. The staff were extremely helpful. Our booked room was in annexe beside kitchen conditioning units with jet engine noise levels. Obviously unacceptable. We were given alternative accommodation which was particularly pleasant and quiet. This may not always be available, so anyone booking needs to check if they expect a quiet night. Very good breakfast"
The Burton Hotel and Cloud Nine
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our three night stay. The staff and the food were excellent. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the area or popping over the border in to Wales. We were able to park right outside the door to our room which was well equipped and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others."
The Manor at Abberley
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful airy room( Shelsey), very clean . Very friendly and extremely helpful team, delicious food , and very picturesque setting."
Porters Lodge
8/10 Good
"The place was clean and bright. However we were unprepared for the atmosphere. Nowhere in the booking process did we understand that we were staying in a religious commune. We could not find the promised shared kitchen and the walls were very thin. Everyone was friendly but we only saw one last when we arrived and one when we left. We just felt the place was a bit strange."
The Feathers Hotel, Ledbury, Herefordshire
8/10 Good
"A lovely hotel with lots of character. Extremely pet friendly- our dog was given so much fuss by all the staff and we had a bowl, chew treat and poo bags in the room. We had a lovely breakfast too, and they even gave us a special sausage for our dog. It is a town centre hotel but just behind the hotel is a car park with a small grassy area suitable for the dog to have a late night wee. The only thing is you cannot eat in the restaurant with a dog which is a shame, and there is only one table in bar area suitable for eating at, but you can book it - we did for breakfast. There are tables in the coffee shop though where we had our evening meal, but it was a bit out of the way and less atmospheric. The standard double was quite a big room but it does get warm. The windows don’t open much but they do provide a fan which helps a bit. Perfectly located for visiting Eastnor Castle and Malvern Hills."
