"I found Centra Hotel Zurich online and decided to book it after reading the positive reviews. A week later, I returned and stayed for one more night, which says a lot about how much I enjoyed my first stay. The property is very clean, quiet, and ideal for a good night’s sleep. My room was spacious and had a balcony, and the hotel is conveniently located not far from downtown Zurich. I stayed during unusually hot Swiss evenings in late June 2026, yet the room stayed cool enough for me to sleep very comfortably with the balcony door partly open. The bed was extremely comfortable (I had a double bed) and overall, the stay was excellent. I would gladly give this hotel a 10/10 and would definitely stay here again if I return to Zurich."

"Got a great deal via Expedia for this hotel and it had an amazing view of the lake. I got breakfast as part of my booking and is the best combination because of the location it will be harder to get breakfast and enjoy it on site. The hotel also had free bike you can borrow with helmet. The hotel is less than 10 min away from the tram. Right across from the hotel you can enjoy water fountain to refill spring water and there is another one at the tram station. Breakfast options has a wide variety and really fresh. In the main lobby there is free Apple and they provide two bottles of water every day. Staff are very friendly in general and of course there is always the one off. Due to the heat wave I barely felt any AC but able to get two fan for my room. I had an amazing experience in this location and highly recommend."

"The hotel was nice and clean. Located on a cobblestone side street. Breakfast was included. Location was great. No AC but ceiling fan worked well. Cafe on ground floor. When we arrived the front desk person named Alejandro made us feel at home and answered all our questions. Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. On a side note Zürich is very expensive for everything and even tap water is charged at cafes and restaurants. There are water fountains everywhere with potable drinking water. We swam in lake Zurich and went to Lindt chocolate factory. Oden Cafe was great with super service."

"Super friendly and helpful staff. Towel rack at the end of the bed. Two sinks in the room as well as lockers. Amazing breakfast. About 20 minutes from Zurich Hauptbanhof. Take the tram/bus not the trai n. Numbers 66/72/13. There was a strange woman in my room. She unpacked 12 cannisters of aerosol cleaners and hung her laundry everywhere. That is not the hostel's fault though. One of the roommates saw her spraying the bathroom with it. Hey, it was super clean! The hostels need better guidelines on shared spaces. Such as do not wake up the entire room at midnight by turning on the lights. Or leaving laundry hanging in the shower. The hostel doesn't provide a Zurich pass."

"The hotel is perfect for a Zurich stay. We had a 5 year old and there is a decent playground down the street. The staff was wonderful. I literally got a brush stuck in my hair as I was preparing for a presentation at U Zurich. My family was out and the staff patiently got it out of my hair. Very pleasant breakfast. No air conditioning but it cools off in the evening."
