I wish I could give this place more stars because it was phenomenal! Every single detail about this place is above and beyond! The hotel is very clean and super spacious! Everyone was kind and made me feel like home, even though I traveled by myself. I felt very safe and I honestly felt like I was at my own house! I love how secluded the property felt even though it’s so close to the beach and many restaurants and shops! My room was very comfortable and the breakfast was really delicious even...

Great resort and good staff, the location and viewe is perfect, the place deserves three or four days to staying. I would like to thank the wonderful staff Athina who made our stay better when she learned that our early departure brought breakfast at night. She is a commendable employee.
What attracted me in the first place was the "golf resort" part of the hotel name. A short week's stay only gave the opportunity to see Knossos and the museum in Heraklion and do some golfing on Greece 4th best golf course. But I would be happy to come back (and bring my husband along) to enjoy relaxing at the perfect resort for exactly that.

Wonderful hotel. V good size room overlooking the pool with everything you'd want. Staff were very pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. In particular, Alexandra on reception was always helpful and polite, as were Dora, Artemis and Balaz at the bar and in the dining area. I'd recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.
We couldn't be happier with our choice. Everything was simply perfect. Location was in the heart of Malia, close to most restaurants and shops. Our luxury 2-bedroom apartment had an amazing interior, it was also spacious and very clean. Pool area was great as well. We would love to return there some day.
The staff was prompt, professional, and personable. The Summer months at the hotel are frequented by mostly younger, single guests. The demographics shift to a wider audience including mostly couples and families in other months. That being said, an enjoyable experience may be found whenever you visit. Daily afternoon DJ service and a variety of evening shows across the week are provided in the spacious pool area.

Just loved it! I wasn’t sure when I booked. I thought it might be too big for this boutique hotel lover, but The Alexander did not disappoint. Warm and friendly staff, lovely ocean/beach and gardens in picturesque groupings of small clusters of rooms which are all easily accessible to the central hotel and dining areas. Half board featured a staggering array of buffet options at breakfast and dinner including fresh fruits and vegetables and Greek dishes as well as other supporting ethnic dishes....
This is a hotel where both management and staff understand the meaning of service. All are well trained friendly, efficient.. This was our second visit and if anything the service and environment of the hotel had improved on last year. The immediate local area is a little tacky and off putting but this does not impact on the hotel grounds and there is at least one good café within a short stroll of the hotel.
We stayed here in June. The large family suite with bunk beds was very comfortable and the staff was very diligent about replacing towels which was really appreciated. The room was supposed to be seafront but in reality we were looking at trees blocking the view. The beach is great IF not windy. We had a few days where the wind meant no swimming at the beach was allowed. No big deal but something to be aware of. Mezze and Mouries restaurant had great food. The breakfast options are also great....
