it’s wonderful atmosphere, clean rooms, kind, and courteous staff. The food and bar were excellent. we definitely stay there again.

Booked on a whim as we were in the area, the hotels surprised with its beautiful location and grounds, lovely public rooms, and friendly staff. Dinner very nice and we will return with our dogs next time. Some deferred maintenance is obvious on the exterior.

There is a guest book at the Rock Inn which dates back to 1903 and it chronicles the experiences of the people who vacationed there. After reading through it one has to agree that it is a special place. We had a lovely stay at the Rock Inn. Our room was cosy with a comfy bed. We booked our meals in because the food is superb and the service friendly and attentive. We look forward to going back.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. There was a nice pub on the property. We had a good size room.

This was a beautiful property and the hosts were excellent. I highly recommend staying here if you are down in this part of Devon.

Charming hotel in rural countryside of England. It is a five star restaurant with rooms to rent. Not at all like a regular Hotel or Motel More like a Bed and Breakfast, except that they also serve dinner and has a bar and service is excellent.

Debbie and Richard were lovely hosts! Beautiful attention to every detail. The breakfast it delicious! They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

This is a family friendly place. Will visit with you and really make you at home. I even got a cooking lesson.

Travelling for work and I had the place to myself due to the pandemic. Felt a bit guilty for putting out the owner, Michelle, just for me but she was very welcoming. I travel quite a bit for work and when you stay in an independent guest house, it can be a bit hit and miss, but I felt immediately comfortable here. The room was well appointed and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was good and they have a well stocked ‘honesty’ bar with reasonable prices. Recommend

We had Easter dinner during our stay and it was phenomenal. The property is such a lovely, traditional pub and inn. I would stay there again

Best English breakfast you’ve ever had! Matt and Lissanne are very welcoming- the pot of tea on arrival was really appreciated. Would definitely stay again 🙂
